USS F1 (ex Carp) SS-20

On Monday 17 December, 1917 the USS F1 (ex Carp) SS-20 was lost when she collided with USS F-3 (SS-22) off the coast of San Clemente, Ca. F-1 was the only US submarine lost during WWI. 19 lives lost
